Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady and slaughter cows sold 1.00 - 4.00 lower. Feeder steers lightly tested, feeder heifers and bulls sold 6.00 - 10.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (7% Steers, 43% Heifers, 50% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (27% Stock Cows, 32% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 36% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 16%.
