Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 4.00 higher. Feeder steers lightly tested, feeder heifers sold 2.00 - 3.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold 6.00 - 10.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (43% Heifers, 57% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 29% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 10%.
