Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold unevenly steady and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 7.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold unevenly steady, however a lower undertone was noted and feeder bulls sold 3.00 - 6.00 lower. Trade active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (11% Steers, 31% Heifers, 58% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 25% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
