Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady, however a lower undertone was noted. Feeder steers were lightly tested, Feeder heifers sold 2.00 - 3.00 lower, and feeder bulls sold unevenly steady. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (5% Steers, 37% Heifers, 58% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (75% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 13% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
