Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers sold unevenly steady, feeder heifers sold 3.00 - 7.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold 3.00 - 9.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 84% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 24% Heifers, 47% Bulls); 10% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (21% Stock Cows, 46% Bred Cows, 10% Bred Heifers, 18% Cow-Calf Pairs, 5% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 12%.
