Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers sold steady to 5.00 higher, feeder heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher, and feeder bulls sold 3.00 to 10.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady to firm.
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (25% Steers, 34% Heifers, 40% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (14% Stock Cows, 64% Bred Cows, 11% Bred Heifers, 11% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
