Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter cattle sold steady to 3.00 higher, lightly tested. Feeder steers and bulls sold sharply higher, feeder heifers sold 6.00 to 10.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady, lightly tested.
Supply included: 92% Feeder Cattle (3% Steers, 79% Heifers, 17% Bulls); 6% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 5%.
