Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter cattle sold 4.00 to 9.00 higher. Feeder cattle market lightly tested, however a weaker undertone was noted. trade active with moderate demand on feeders. Replacement cattle sold firm with good demand.
Supply included: 66% Feeder Cattle (13% Steers, 43% Heifers, 43% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (62% Cows, 38% Bulls); 24% Replacement Cattle (25% Bred Cows, 75% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 10%.
