Compared to two weeks ago, steers under 700 lbs sold steady to 4.00 higher and heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher except for 600-700 lbs heifers selling unevenly steady on a thin test. Demand was good from the buyers in the crowd with internet activity noticed.
Supply included: 69% Feeder Cattle (51% Steers, 49% Heifers); 27% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 3% Replacement Cattle (22% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 61% Cow-Calf Pairs, 8% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 74%.
