Market Notes

Compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers sold unevenly steady. Demand was good for load lots with moderate to good demand for packages. Mostly order buyers at the sale on Monday as the usually large crowd of farmer/feeders are busy with planting corn and soybeans. Wide variety of weights, type and condition for Monday's special calf and feeder sale. The next special Monday sale will be May 16.
