Compared to last week, feeder steers sharply lower overall, with feeder heifers 3.00 lower, and feeder bulls weighing up to 450 lbs. mostly steady and those weighing over 450 lbs. sharply lower. Decreased demand was noted due, in part, to extreme heat wave. Slaughter cows gauging 4.00 to 8.00 higher with slaughter bulls mostly steady.

Supply included: 73% Feeder Cattle (26% Steers, 47% Heifers, 27% Bulls); 24% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 88% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29%.
