Compared to last week, feeder steers were unevenly steady; feeder heifers and feeder bulls were mostly steady to 1.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good, with buyers showing lots of interest in groups of feeder cattle weaned 30+ days. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 2.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were mostly steady on a light test. Offerings today included the following load lots: 54 hd steers, 926 lbs, 140.00 per CWT; 55 hd steers, 916 lbs, 146.25 per CWT; 62 hd steers, 806 lbs, 154.00 per CWT.

Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 31% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (90% Bred Cows, 10% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
