Compared to last week, feeder classes measuring 3.00 to 5.00 higher overall, with high-quality offerings noted. Slaughter cows gauging 2.00 lower overall with slaughter bulls mostly steady. Pulaski - Compared to the same sale three weeks ago, Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Steers and bulls 2.00 to 10.00 higher, mostly 4.00 to 8.00 higher. Heifers under 500 lbs 4.00 to 8.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady to 4.00 higher. Quality fair to fancy. Demand moderate.
Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 55% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (9% Stock Cows, 59% Bred Cows, 3% Bred Heifers, 29% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
