Compared to last week, slaughter cows were down 7.00. No other comparisons are available because of light receipts. The next sale on March 9 is a special feeder calf sale. No auction will be held on March 16 because of the Draft Horse Auction.
Supply included: 19% Feeder Cattle (4% Steers, 38% Dairy Steers, 58% Dairy Heifers); 81% Slaughter Cattle (1% Steers, 14% Dairy Steers, 78% Cows, 1% Bulls, 6% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
