Compared to last week slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with active buyer participation on high quality groups of steers and heifers. No Holstein steers this week. Cows and bulls were significantly higher with a good offering of high dressing cows and bulls and good buyer inquiry. Feeder steers and heifers were trending higher with feeder bulls 2.00 to 4.00 higher this week.

Supply included: 22% Feeder Cattle (18% Steers, 53% Heifers, 30% Bulls); 78% Slaughter Cattle (3% Steers, 6% Heifers, 90% Cows, 1% Bulls, 0% Bullocks); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29%.
