Compared to last week slaughter steers were 4.00 to 5.00 higher with slaughter heifers 4.00 higher with good value on heavier high quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today but Holstein slaughter heifers were trending higher. Cows had instances of higher/lower with a good offering of cows today and bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 lower All classes of feeder calves were trending lower with a light test today.

Supply included: 21% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 52% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 79% Slaughter Cattle (25% Steers, 26% Heifers, 37% Cows, 9% Bulls, 3% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 34%.
