Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 4.00 higher with slaughter heifers 2.00 to 4.00 higher with good prices on high quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows were 6.00 higher on breaker high dressing cows with active buyer participation and other cows treading mostly steady and bulls had instances of higher/lower with good demand on higher dressing bulls. Feeder steers and bulls mostly steady and feeder heifers trending higher with a light test this week.

Supply included: 15% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 29% Heifers, 32% Bulls); 85% Slaughter Cattle (37% Steers, 36% Heifers, 22% Cows, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 71%.
