Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with lower prices on higher quality steers and heifers with a lighter test today. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 to 4.00 higher this week. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 higher with high prices on the heavier higher dressing cows and bulls mostly steady. Feeder heifers were trading 5.00 lower and feeder bulls trending higher with a good offering of bulls.

Supply included: 33% Feeder Cattle (34% Heifers, 66% Bulls); 67% Slaughter Cattle (34% Steers, 10% Dairy Steers, 14% Heifers, 32% Cows, 10% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 51%.
