Compared to last week , slaughter steers were 2.00 to 6.00 higher with slaughter heifers sharply higher with a lighter offering but active buyer participation on high quality steers and heifers. Cows had instances of higher/lower with good value on high dressing breaker cows and no test on bulls due to light offering. Feeder calves were too few to compare with feeder bulls trending higher.
Supply included: 10% Feeder Cattle (100% Bulls); 90% Slaughter Cattle (42% Steers, 35% Heifers, 22% Cows, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
