Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers were 2.00 lower with a good offering of slaughter steers and heifers today. No test on Holstein slaughter steers this week due to light numbers last week. Cows were 1.00 to 4.00 higher with bulls mostly steady but sharply higher on higher dressing bulls and active bidding on cows and bulls. Feeder steers and bulls were selling mostly steady with no test on feeder heifers due to no numbers last week.

Supply included: 17% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 51% Heifers, 6% Bulls, 4% Dairy Heifers); 83% Slaughter Cattle (32% Steers, 5% Dairy Steers, 44% Heifers, 18% Cows, 2% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 28%.
