Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower with good value on the higher quality steers and heifers and a good offering of steers and heifers. No test on Holstein slaughter steers today. Also no comparison on Holstein slaughter heifers. Cows were 2.00 to 6.00 lower on all classes of cows but good prices on bigger breaker cows and bulls were 6.00 lower with high dressing heavier bulls 7.00 higher. Feeder steers too few last week to compare but trending higher with feeder heifers instances of higher/lower and feeder bulls trending lower. .

Supply included: 9% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 37% Heifers, 29% Bulls); 90% Slaughter Cattle (9% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 12% Heifers, 77% Cows, 1% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
