Compared to last week slaughter steers were 2.00 to 5.00 higher and slaughter heifers 1.00 to 4.00 higher with a good offering of slaughter steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were 6.00 higher today. Cows were 1.00 to 3.00 lower with bulls 2.00 higher and a good offering and nice quality of Replacement cows this week. Feeder steers trending lower and feeder heifers sharply lower and feeder bulls trending higher.

Supply included: 19% Feeder Cattle (10% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 61% Heifers, 24% Bulls); 72% Slaughter Cattle (31% Steers, 7% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 19% Cows, 3% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.
