Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 2.00 lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 3.00 lower but better value on higher quality slaughter steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were 3.00 lower. Cows and bulls had instances of higher/lower this week with a good offering of cows and bulls today. Feeder steers and heifers were significantly higher with feeder bulls trending lower.

Supply included: 22% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 47% Heifers, 17% Bulls); 78% Slaughter Cattle (31% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 29% Heifers, 25% Cows, 8% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 5% Bullocks); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
