Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 3.00 lower with slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower with a good offering of steers and heifers and stills good value on higher quality slaughter steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were steady today. Cows 1.00 to 3.00 higher with bulls 2.00 to 6.00 higher this week. Feeder steers were steady to firm with feeder heifers 6.00 to 14.00 higher and feeder bulls trending lower.

Supply included: 11% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 44% Heifers, 26% Bulls); 89% Slaughter Cattle (32% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 45% Heifers, 16% Cows, 3% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43%.
