Compared to last week, slaughter steers were steady to firm and slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower with higher quality steers and heifers still good. Ho comparison on Holstein slaughter steers today. Cows had instances of higher/lower with bulls 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers were steady to firm and feeder heifers steady with feeder bulls trending lower and some good value added lighter feeders.

Supply included: 12% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 51% Heifers, 20% Bulls); 88% Slaughter Cattle (38% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 39% Heifers, 18% Cows, 3% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 20%.
