Compared to last week, slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 2.00 lower with a good offering of steers and heifers today and lower packer inquiry this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 lower. Cows had instances of higher/lower with lower prices on high dressing breaker cows this week and bulls were 9.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers were trending higher and feeder bulls sharply lower and feeder steers too few to compare today.

Supply included: 11% Feeder Cattle (6% Steers, 81% Heifers, 14% Bulls); 89% Slaughter Cattle (36% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 13% Cows, 6% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 91%.
