Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 2.00 lower and slaughter heifers 1.00 lower with a good offering of steers and heifers but lower packer interest this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 6.00 higher with a good group of prime Holsteins. Cows were 2.00 to 8.00 lower and bulls sharply lower. Feeder steers and heifer were sharply higher with some good value added heavier heifers today.

Supply included: 13% Feeder Cattle (12% Steers, 88% Heifers); 86% Slaughter Cattle (53% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 26% Heifers, 15% Cows, 4% Bulls, 0% Bullocks); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 80%.
