Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 lower and slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower but prime steers and heifers 1.00 higher today. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 lower this week with a lighter offering today. Cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with high dressing breaker cows sharply higher and bulls 6.00 higher with active buyer participation on cows and bulls. Feeder steers were too few to compare and feeder heifers mostly steady with feeder bulls trending higher.

Supply included: 15% Feeder Cattle (5% Steers, 38% Heifers, 57% Bulls); 85% Slaughter Cattle (16% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 27% Heifers, 45% Cows, 8% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
