Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 6.00 higher and slaughter heifers were 2.00 to 4.00 higher with higher prices on higher quality steers and heifers. No Holstein slaughter steers or heifers today. Cows 1.00 to 4.00 higher and bulls were sharply higher with higher value on big higher dressing cows and bulls. Feeder steers were mostly steady and feeder heifers unevenly higher and feeder bulls trending higher.

Supply included: 23% Feeder Cattle (12% Steers, 60% Heifers, 28% Bulls); 74% Slaughter Cattle (21% Steers, 32% Heifers, 36% Cows, 10% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (71% Bred Cows, 29% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 34%.
