Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers had instances of higher/lower but higher quality steers and heifers were 5.00 to 9.00 higher today. No comparison on Holstein slaughter steers today due to no Holsteins last week\. Cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher with bulls 1.00 to 3.00 higher this week. Feeder steers were trending lower with feeder heifers 7.00 to 10.00 higher and feeder bulls trending higher with value added and fancy feeders significantly higher.

Supply included: 35% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 45% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 63% Slaughter Cattle (33% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 29% Heifers, 29% Cows, 4% Bulls, 1% Bullocks); 2% Replacement Cattle (40% Bred Cows, 60% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
