Compared to last week, slaughter steers had instance of higher/lower with slaughter heifers 1.00 higher and a good offering of steers and heifers. Not enough of Holstein slaughter to compare. Cows were 3.00 to 5.00 lower with bulls 1.00 higher this week. All feeder calves were mostly steady today.
Supply included: 15% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 34% Heifers, 26% Bulls); 85% Slaughter Cattle (52% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 34% Heifers, 10% Cows, 2% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
