Compared to last week, slaughter steers and slaughter heifers were 1.00 lower with a lighter offering this week. No Holstein slaughter steer today. Cows were 1.00 lower and bulls 2.00 lower with fewer numbers also today. Feeders too few to compare this but had a higher undertone.
Supply included: 6% Feeder Cattle (57% Heifers, 43% Bulls); 93% Slaughter Cattle (24% Steers, 43% Heifers, 22% Cows, 11% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 14%.
