Compared to last week, slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower with slaughter heifers were trading mostly steady. Holstein slaughter steers were measurably lower this week but a good offering of Holstein steers today. Cows were uneven this week with active buyer participation and bulls 2.00 to 4.00 lower. All classes of feeder calves were mostly steady this week.

Supply included: 11% Feeder Cattle (30% Steers, 51% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 87% Slaughter Cattle (33% Steers, 17% Dairy Steers, 35% Heifers, 9% Cows, 5% Bulls, 0% Dairy Heifers); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
