Compared to last week steers under 500 lbs sold 5.00 to 10.00 higher, 500 to 700 sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher and over 700 lbs sold 3.00 to 4.00 lower. Heifers under 500 lbs sold steady to 7.00 higher. Over 500 lbs sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower. Slaughter and feeder cows sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 3.00 higher. Demand was good for light weight cattle with moderate demand for feedlot placements. Not as many slaughter cows this week compared to previous weeks supply.

Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (62% Steers, 38% Heifers); 5% Slaughter Cattle (87% Cows, 13% Bulls); 17% Replacement Cattle (17% Stock Cows, 67% Bred Cows, 16% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 47%.
