Compared to last week: The light test of feeder steers under 500 lbs sold with firm undertone, 500 - 650 lbs sold mostly 10.00 lower and steers over 650 lbs sold firm, mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold with firm undertone, 500 - 600 lbs sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower, and heifers over 600 lbs sold steady to 6.00 higher. Average dressing slaughter cows sold firm, mostly 3.00 higher, while average dressing slaughter bulls sold 3.00 lower. Active trade and good demand noted in reported auction markets.

Supply included: 61% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 51% Heifers); 11% Slaughter Cattle (93% Cows, 7% Bulls); 28% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 75% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs, 2% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
