Compared to last week, steers under 500 lbs sold 10.00 lower, 500 to 700 lbs sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher, 700 to 800 lbs sold 4.00 lower and over 800 lbs sold steady. Flyweight heifers sold 2.00 higher with all other weight trading 1.00 to 4.00 lower. Medium and fleshy cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower with lean cows 7.00 to 8.00 lower. Slaughter bull sold 4.00 lower. Bred cows sold steady. Few, more pairs showing up at the auctions this week. Most of the state is still very dry but there have been some snow accumulations in the last week that will help the grass green up.

Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (39% Steers, 61% Heifers); 8% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (30% Stock Cows, 41% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 16% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 62%.
