Compared to last week, steers under 600 lbs sold 6.00 to 9.00 higher, 600-700 lbs sold 10.00 higher and over 700 lbs sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher. Fly weight heifers sold steady, 500 to 700 lbs sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher and over 700 lbs 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold 5.00 to 10.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold 10.00 lower. Demand was very good for cattle suited for summer grazing. With good demand for all other classes of feeders. Light to moderate demand for slaughter cattle. Good demand for heiferetts as some of these will become rebreeds and recipient cows.

Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (60% Steers, 40% Heifers); 8% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (46% Stock Cows, 32% Bred Cows, 22% Bred Heifers, 0% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 46%.
