Market Notes
Compared to last week; slaughter and feeder cows traded 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls traded 2.00 to 3.00 higher. Also a nice run of feeder cattle no trend today but higher undertones noted on comparable trades. Continued moisture in the area is bringing lots of green grass to a much needed dry region. Sale again next Friday with lots of nice Cow Calf Pairs on display.
Supply included: 51% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 55% Heifers); 29% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 20% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
