Compared to last week; slaughter and feeder cows traded 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls traded steady to last week. A large offering today on all classes of cows. Heiferettes traded sharply higher to last week. Also a small offering of bawling calves with most of the offering having both spring and fall shots. A very active market from start to finish.
Supply included: 13% Feeder Cattle (67% Steers, 33% Heifers); 65% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 22% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.
