Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers traded firm to 3.00 higher. Heifer calves traded 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Not enough comparable sales on steer calves to call a trend, but a lower undertone was noted. Slaughter cows and bulls traded mostly 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Trading activity was moderate to active on moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 62% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 34% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 36% Slaughter Cattle (98% Cows, 2% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (17% Stock Cows, 17% Bred Cows, 67% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
