Compared to last week: Fully weaned steer and heifer calves sold firm to 2.00 higher; unweaned kinds were weak to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers steady except a few load lots sold firm to 2.00 higher. Fleshy slaughter cows were 1.00 to 2.00 higher; lean cows mostly steady. Slaughter bulls not well tested. Trade active. Demand good.
Supply included: 78% Feeder Cattle (68% Steers, 32% Heifers); 22% Slaughter Cattle (98% Cows, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 58%.
