Compared to two weeks ago: Steer and heifer feeders and calves firm to 2.00 higher. Feeder and calf receipts on offer were mostly in thin flesh and/or gaunt condition following the extreme low temperatures and icy conditions of last week. Slaughter cows and bulls steady to weak. Trade fairly active, Demand fairly good.
Supply included: 50% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 44% Heifers); 50% Slaughter Cattle (99% Cows, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
