Weighted Average Report for Wednesday 8/10/2016

Cattle Receipts: 765   Last week: 968   Last year: 715

Compared to last week: Feeder steer and heifer calves sold 5.00 to 7.00 higher. 
Yearling steers and heifers 3.00 to 6.00 higher with good demand. Todays 
offering consisted of many fancy weaned calves that were in very good demand.  
Slaughter cows and bulls fully steady.
 
18 replacement cattle, 30 slaughter cattle, and 707 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 2.2 percent of offering, slaughter bulls .6 
percent, replacement cows 1.2 percent and feeders 96.0 percent. The 
feeder supply included 60 percent steers and bulls and 40 percent 
heifers. Near 51 percent of run weighed over 600 lbs.
