Cattle Receipts: 364   Last week: 738   Last year: 670

Compared to last week: Feeder steer and heifer calves sold unevenly steady with 
a less quality calf offering this week. Extreme heat has slowed movement of 
livestock and has also weakened demand for calves. Yearling steers sold mostly 
steady. Yearling heifers not fully tested. Slaughter cows and bulls fully 
steady.
 
5 replacement cattle, 30 slaughter cattle, and 329 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 6.7 percent of offering, slaughter bulls 1.0 
percent, replacement cows .8 percent and feeders 92.0 percent. The 
feeder supply included 62 percent steers and bulls and 37 percent 
heifers. Near 52 percent of run weighed over 600 lbs.
