Weighted Average Report for Wednesday 6/29/2016

Cattle Receipts: 792   Last week: 602   Last year: n/a

*No sale next week due to holiday.*

Compared to last week: Feeder steer and heifer calves sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher 
with good demand. Yearling steers and heifers sold 2.00 higher on a light test. 
Slaughter cows and bulls steady to 2.00 lower. 
 
5 replacement cattle, 60 slaughter cattle, and 727 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 9.5 percent of offering, slaughter bulls .2 
percent, replacement cows 2.3 percent and feeders 88.0 percent. The 
feeder supply included 44 percent steers and bulls and 55 percent 
heifers. Near 31 percent of run weighed over 600 lbs.
