Cattle Receipts: 1122   Last week: 906   Last year: 1302

Compared to last week: Feeder steer calves sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher with good 
demand. Feeder heifer calves fully steady. Yearling steers and heifers sold 3.00 
to 5.00 higher with good demand. Lots of high quality weaned calves were offered 
today with buyers paying high premiums for these preconditioned calves. 
Slaughter cows and bulls sold fully steady. 

18 replacement cattle, 46 slaughter cattle, and 760 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 0.9 percent of offering, slaughter bulls 0.2 percent, 
replacement cows .3 percent and feeders 98 percent. The feeder supply included 
67 percent steers and bulls, and 53 percent heifers. Near 62 percent of run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
