Cattle Receipts: 886   Last week: 489   Last year: 479

Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher with 
good demand on a high quality calf offering with premiums paid for thin fleshed 
grass cattle. Fleshy calves were in less demand.  Yearling steers and heifers 
2.00 higher with good demand. Slaughter cows 3.00 to 4.00 higher. Slaughter 
bulls steady. 
 
24 replacement cattle, 54 slaughter cattle, and 808 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 4.4 percent of offering, slaughter bulls 0.2 percent, 
replacement cows 5.0 percent and feeders 92 percent. The feeder supply included 
58 percent steers and bulls and 26 percent heifers. Near 45 percent of run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
