Cattle Receipts: 1216    Last week: 1316    Last year: 631

Compared to last week: Steer and heifer calves sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher with 
instances of 10.00 higher with a calf offering consisting of many weaned 
preconditioned calves this week. These cattle were in high demand with high 
premiums paid for them. Yearling steers sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower with light 
demand. Slaughter cows and bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower.

This weeks supply included 44 percent that weighed over 600 lbs. 53 percent 
steer and bull calves 2.0 Holstein Steers and 45 percent heifers of total 
recorded feeder supply. 52 head of slaughter cows with 96 percent going to 
slaughter, 6 head slaughter bulls with 100 percent going to slaughter, 6 head 
of bred cows, 2 cow/calf pairs.
