Cattle Receipts: 1114   Last week: 358     Last year: 944 

Compared to last week: Feeder steer and heifer calves steady to 3.00 lower with 
a softer undertone. Greater numbers of calves came to market this week giving 
buyers the option of buying some high quality weaned calves with premiums paid 
for these cattle. Plain fleshy calves were in light demand and discounted 
accordingly. Yearling steers and heifers 2.00 lower with light demand. Slaughter 
cows steady. Slaughter bulls 2.00 to 3.00 higher. 

52 replacement cattle, 57 slaughter cattle, and 1005 feeder cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 4.5 percent of offering, slaughter bulls 1.8 percent, 
replacement cows 4.8 percent and feeders 89 percent. The feeder supply included 
34 percent steers and bulls, and 66 percent heifers. Near 48 percent of run 
weighed over 600 lbs.
