Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 07/26/2018

   Compared to last week:  Feeder steers best comparisons were
those weighing 800-850 lbs and 950-1000 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher,
other weights sold with firm undertones in a narrow comparisons.
Feeder heifers mostly steady with lower undertones noted at times.
Demand was good to very good for todays offering of high quality
backgrounded yearling cattle.  Flesh condition was light to moderate
and weighing conditions were attractive.  Many load lots and couple 
longs strings of cattle were offered today, allowing buyers to get
yards filled with similar type cattle.  Feeder cattle were 52 percent
steers, 48 percent heifers. 99 perent weighing over 600 lbs.  Sale
next Thursday August 2nd with 2,500 head expected.
